A fully custom beef selection, ideal for families or bulk buyers.

The Half a Cow is an economical way to enjoy a generous supply of premium, grass-fed Native Angus® Beef, tailored exactly to your needs.

You’ll receive approximately 80kg of 100% grass-fed, grass-finished beef, raised ethically and regeneratively on our farm “Arrawatta Station” in New England, NSW.

This option gives you control over how your beef is cut and packed. Please use the form in the cart page (once added) to select your preferred cuts and let us know exactly how you’d like your beef prepared.

The price is based on the packaged weight of table-ready cuts, so you’re only paying for the meat you’ll use. As an added bonus, any bones, offal or fat you choose to include will be packed free of charge (subject to availability and delivery restrictions).

Please note: Edit options in the cart page. Bones, offal and fat cannot be shipped to all addresses. If these are important to you, please get in touch before ordering so we can confirm availability in your area.

If you have questions or would like to talk through how you'd like your beef cut, packaged or delivered, we’re always happy to help—just contact us directly.

Due to the custom nature of this product, your order will take a little longer to prepare. Each quarter and half cow is butchered to your personal specifications, which means delivery may take up to 3 weeks. We’ll be in touch to confirm your cutting preferences and provide updates as your order progresses.

The Cattle

The Cattle Behind Every Cut

Our Native Aberdeen Angus are a heritage breed, selected over generations for flavour, marbling, and the ability to thrive on grass alone. They grow slowly on native and biodiverse pastures at Arrawatta Station, maturing at around three years of age.

That patience produces beef with a depth of flavour and a nutrient profile that grain-fed, fast-grown cattle simply can't match. Independently tested and shown to contain higher levels of omega-3 fatty acids, CLA, and a better omega-6 to omega-3 ratio.

The Butchery

Prepared by Our In-House Butchery Team

Every bulk order is prepared by our own artisan butchers. They prepare your order with care and precision. You tell us how you'd like your beef cut, and they'll make it happen.

Packaging and Storage

Vacuum Sealed for Freshness

Every cut in your bulk order arrives individually vacuum sealed (cryovacced). This extends shelf life and protects the beef during transit.

Beef you can trust. From a farm you can name.
