How We’re Verified
Certified Regenerative Farming Practices
At Native Angus Beef, transparency and trust are as important as the beef we raise. Our commitment to regenerative farming, ethical land stewardship and nutrient-dense food isn't just something we say - it's something we can prove.
This page outlines the independent verifications and evaluations that back our farming practices. These credentials reflect the care we take in raising our cattle, regenerating the land, and producing beef that’s better for people and the planet.

Sustainable Table: Regenerative Food and Farming Accreditation
We’re proud to be recognised by Sustainable Table as a certified regenerative food producer.
Sustainable Table is a leading Australian organisation supporting food producers committed to land stewardship, ecological health and local food systems. Their Australian Regenerative Food and Farming Directory connects consumers with farms that prioritise biodiversity, soil health, animal welfare and community outcomes.
Why this matters
This accreditation isn't a marketing label. It’s earned through demonstrated, long-term commitment to regeneration. Native Angus Beef has been recognised for:
- Converting previously cropped land at Arrawatta Station into a thriving, biodiverse grassland
- Using agroecological methods to support soil microbiome health and nutrient cycling
- Raising heritage-bred Native Aberdeen Angus cattle, forage-fed on diverse pastures
- Producing beef with a unique terroir (taste profile), shaped by native grasses, slow growth, and a nutrient-rich environment

Our Farm, Our Mission
Located near Oakwood, northern NSW, our farm Arrawatta Station spans 1,800 hectares alongside the Macintyre River. Since purchasing the property in 2020, our focus has been to restore its ecological function and build a self-sustaining pasture-based ecosystem.
Our herd of Native Aberdeen Angus cattle are raised entirely on pasture, and thrive on our regenerative model. They graze a variety of native and naturalised plant species, contributing to soil health and producing beef that is richly flavoured and nutritionally dense.
This accreditation is part of our promise to raise cattle with integrity, care for the land, and offer food that supports human and planetary health.

Ecological Outcome Verification (EOV)
At Native Angus Beef, we believe in measuring what matters. That’s why our farm Arrawatta Station has been independently assessed through the Savory Institute’s Ecological Outcome Verification (EOV) program, a globally recognised standard that evaluates the real-world impact of regenerative farming practices.
What is EOV?
EOV is a science-backed monitoring framework developed by the Savory Institute. It’s designed to assess whether farming practices are truly improving the landscape over time. It looks beyond theory or intention, measuring real-world results in key ecological areas like:
- Soil health
- Water cycle function
- Biodiversity
- Carbon retention
- Ecosystem resilience
The approach is rooted in Holistic Management, which recognises that well-managed grazing animals are essential for maintaining and restoring healthy grasslands. When done poorly, grazing can damage land. But when done regeneratively, it can reverse degradation, rebuild soil and bring landscapes back to life.
How it works
Arrawatta Station underwent a detailed EOV baseline assessment in 2025 - this is the first major evaluation that sets our baseline scores, and from which we will be compared against each year in subsequent evaluations to achieve our EOV status.
Each year, we will be independently monitored and scored across multiple ecological health indicators. To achieve verification in 2026 and onwards, we must show continual improvement.
Our most recent EOV results:
- Water Cycle Index: 86%
- Mineral Cycle Index: 67%
- Energy Flow Index: 71%
- Community Dynamics Index: 63%
These results reflect strong early progress in building soil health, restoring water cycles, and enhancing pasture function, all of which contribute to healthier cattle and better food.

Why This Matters To You
Healthy soil doesn’t just grow healthier grass; it grows more nutritious food. The minerals and microbiology in our soils directly influence the nutrient profile of the beef we raise.
By choosing beef from a verified regenerative farm, you’re supporting a system that benefits your health, improves animal welfare, restores landscapes, and contributes to the wellbeing of the planet.
EOV gives you a clear, trustworthy way to know that your food dollars are making a difference - from the soil up.
