Collection & Delivery

What is the delivery timeframe?

We aim to deliver your order within 1-2 weeks across Queensland, New South Wales and Victoria. Once your order has been made, we will be in touch with you to confirm your delivery details and arrange for a preferred date and time for your delivery to take place.

You’ll receive text message updates the day before delivery, and again once your order has arrived. Our packaging is designed to keep your beef at safe refrigerator temperature for up to 4 hours, so it’s fresh and ready when you unpack it.

Please double-check that your delivery details and mobile number are correct at checkout. If you're delivering to a business address, be sure to include the business name to help ensure a smooth delivery. If delivery cannot be completed due to incorrect details, a redelivery fee may apply.

For deliveries outside QLD, NSW and VIC, please get in touch with us - we’re happy to discuss what’s possible.

We offer free shipping on all orders over $250, which includes all of our Meat Boxes and customer Quarter & Half Cow options.

Do I need to be home to receive my delivery?

While it’s not essential to be home, we do recommend having someone available to pop the box into the fridge or freezer soon after it arrives.

You won’t need to sign for your delivery, and your beef will remain chilled for up to 4 hours in its insulated packaging.

Absolutely. If you're local, you’re welcome to collect your order from our Warehouse Shop in Yatala, QLD.

Can I customise my box?

Simply email us at orders@nativeangusbeef.com, and we’ll do our best to accommodate your needs.

For full customisation, our Quarter and Half Cow options are a great choice—they allow you to select exactly how your beef is cut and packed.

Our Beef

How is your beef packaged?

All Native Angus Beef is delivered as table-ready cuts, individually vacuum-sealed in portions ranging from 200g to 2.0kg.

Vacuum sealing (or “cryovaccing”) helps maintain freshness and extends shelf life by removing oxygen from the packaging. This may cause the meat to appear slightly darker in colour and have a different odour when first opened - both are completely normal.

For best results, we recommend removing your beef from the vacuum pack and allowing it to breathe, loosely covered at room temperature, for 1 to 12 hours before cooking. This lets the natural colour and aroma return.

How long will my beef last?

Each cut is clearly labelled with a fresh and frozen best-before date.

If kept in the fridge, we recommend enjoying your beef within 1 week of delivery.

If frozen, it can be safely stored for up to 12 months—just thaw and cook before the frozen use-by date.

Proper storage ensures you get the best flavour and texture from every cut.

Will my beef arrive fresh or frozen?

We aim to send most of our meat fresh. Occasionally, if we're clearing stock or during short periods when fresh processing isn't available, some orders may be sent frozen instead. If that's the case for your order, we’ll let you know when you place it.

Please note: our pet mince, beef tallow, offal and bones are always sold frozen

What’s in your sausages?

Our sausages are made simply, with 100% grass-fed, grass-finished Native Angus® Beef and salt. That’s it.

They’re gluten free, preservative free, and a great option for anyone wanting a clean, wholesome sausage without fillers or additives.

What’s in your corning brine?

We use a nitrate-free corning brine for our Corned Silverside, Corned Brisket and similar cuts.

The brine contains:

Mineral Salts (451, 452, 450), Salt, Hydrolysed Vegetable Protein (Maize), Vegetable Protein Extract, and Rice Bran Oil.

No nitrates, ever.

Our Farm

Are your cattle really 100% grass-fed?

Yes, our cattle enjoy a completely grass-fed and grass-finished diet, and this is a fact we’re very proud of.

We believe this approach ensures superior nutrient content and flavour in our beef. Our Native Angus® cattle thrive on the lush pastures of Arrawatta Station in New England, NSW, resulting in beef that's both healthy and delicious.

Do your cattle receive any hormones or antibiotics?

No, our cattle are raised without the use of growth hormones or antibiotics, and we do not use any pesticides or herbicides on our pastures. We prioritise natural growth and health, ensuring that the beef you enjoy has been raised as naturally as possible.

What sustainable farming practices do you implement?

At Arrawatta Station, we embrace regenerative agriculture techniques to enhance soil health, promote biodiversity, and ensure the long-term sustainability of our land. Our practices include rotational grazing, cover cropping, no-till farming, and natural sequence farming. These methods not only benefit our cattle but also contribute positively to the environment.

Where is your farm located?

Our farm, Arrawatta Station, is nestled in the Northern Tablelands of the New England region in New South Wales, Australia. This area is renowned for its fertile soils and temperate climate, making it ideal for raising our Native Angus® cattle.

What is the significance of the Native Angus® breed?

Native Angus® refers to cattle that can trace their lineage back to the original Aberdeen Angus breed from Scotland, without imported bloodlines. These cattle retain the genetic qualities for taste, texture, and marbling that established the Angus reputation worldwide. By focusing on this heritage breed, we ensure a premium beef experience rooted in tradition and quality.
