FAQs
Collection & Delivery
What is the ETA and cost?
We aim to make all deliveries within between two to four weeks to Queensland, New South Wales and Victoria, Australia, for a flat fee of $25 per order.
PLEASE ENSURE YOUR DELIVERY DETAILS ARE CORRECT! If delivery is to a business, you must include the business name so that it can be completed successfully.
Your order will receive a delivery update via text message the day prior to delivery and then again when it has been delivered. Our packaging keeps your beef at refrigerator temperature for up to 4 hours. Please ensure your contact mobile phone number is correct!
You will be charged a re-delivery fee if the details are not correct and delivery fails for that specific reason.
If you would like a delivery to any Australian state other than QLD, NSW and VIC, please contact us to make a special request.
Do I need to be home to accept delivery?
As our deliveries are refrigerated, it is strongly recommended someone is able to put the box safely in the fridge or freezer.
Your personal signature will not be required to complete delivery. Our packaging keeps your beef at refrigerator temperature for up to 4 hours.

Our Boxes
Can I buy individual pieces?
Not online but you can at our official stockists or at our warehouse in Yatala, QLD. Because Native Angus Beef follows ethical, whole-animal butchery, we don’t always have large quantities of single cuts available at once. That’s why we’ve created our custom nose-to-tail boxes, giving you a range of cuts at much better value, while helping us respect the entire animal.
If you are local to Inverell, NSW (where our farm is located) we stock our beef in individual portions at Funki Munki in Otho Street.
We also sell premium pet food and bones at the Inverell Barnyard, also on Otho Street.
Individual cuts of Native Angus Beef can be also be purchased directly from our warehouse on 2/31 Warehouse Cct, Yatala, QLD. Shop hours vary so please send us a message if you are intending to visit.
Beef clearance sales will be held at our Native Angus Beef warehouse in Yatala and these days will be advertised on our social media channels and sent to our subscribed members.
Keep an eye on our Stockists page as we will be adding more soon!
Can I customise my box?
We do not currently offer customisation of our other boxes offering premium steaks.
That said, however, if there is special order you are looking to make, feel free to send us an email at orders@nativeangusbeef.com and we will do our best to accommodate it.
Our Beef
How is your beef packaged?
Native Angus Beef orders are sold as table ready cuts, individually vacuum sealed into 200g-2.0kg portions.
Cryovaccing works by removing oxygen from the internal bag environment - allowing the beef a longer fresh and frozen shelf life. The lack of oxygen can turn the myoglobin (normal red liquid that oozes from the meat on storage) a slightly brown colour and can give it a different odour.
For best eating results take the beef out of the cryovac bag, cover and allow it to reoxygenate at room temperature for 1 - 12 hours before cooking.
How long will my beef last?
Your meat has been specifically packaged to prolong its shelf life when stored correctly.
Each individual piece has both a fresh and a frozen best before date. The fresh date is the date you should use the meat by if it is stored in the refrigerator (typically 1 week). The frozen best before date should be used once it is stored in the freezer, it should be defrosted and eaten before this Date (typically 1 year).
Will my beef be fresh or frozen?
We sell most of our meat fresh. Occasionally we will sell meat frozen if we have stock to clear or during times when we are not able to get fresh meat processed. We will advise you when your order is made if your order will arrive frozen.
Our pet mince, beef lard, offal and bones are always sold frozen.
What are in your Sausages?
Our Sausages are gluten free and preservative free. They contain Native Angus grass-fed/finished beef and salt only.
What is in your Corning Brine?
The Corning Brine we use is Nitrate Free. Any Corned Silverside or Corned Brisket etc. that you purchase from us will never have any Nitrates added.
It contains: Mineral Salts (451, 452, 450), Salt, Hydrolysed Vegetable Protein (Maize) (Vegetable Protein Extract, Rice Bran Oil)
Our Farm
Are your cattle really 100% grass fed?
Our cattle are fed a fully grass-fed diet and this is a fact we are very proud of. We believe grass-fed AND grass-finished is the only way to ensure superior nutrient content in our customers' red meat intake.
Are your cattle chemical free?
We aim to raise our cattle as naturally as possible. We use no pesticides or herbicides on our pastures. Our cattle receive no hormones or antibiotics.
