Frequently Asked Questions

Collection & Delivery

What is the ETA and cost?

We aim to make all deliveries within between two to four weeks to Queensland, New South Wales and Victoria, Australia, free of charge.

PLEASE ENSURE YOUR DELIVERY DETAILS ARE CORRECT! If delivery is to a business, you must include the business name so that it can be completed successfully.

Your order will receive a delivery update via text message the day prior to delivery and then again with an ETA on the day of delivery. Please ensure your contact mobile phone number is correct!

You will be charged a re-delivery fee if the details are not correct and delivery fails for that reason.

If you would like a delivery to any Australian state other than QLD, NSW and VIC, please contact us to make a special request.

Do I need to be home to accept delivery?

As our deliveries are refrigerated, it is strongly recommended someone is able to put the box safely in the fridge or freezer.

Your personal signature will not be required to complete delivery.

Can I pick up my box?

All local orders can be collected from our warehouse at 25 Oliver Street, Inverell NSW 2360. Please note, this location is not open to the public so please wait for our confirmation email before visiting to pick up your order.

Our Boxes

Can I buy individual pieces?

In line with our commitment to nose-to-tail meat consumption, we do not currently offer the sale and/or delivery of individual pieces via our website.

If you are local to Inverell, NSW we stock our beef in individual portions at Funki Munki in Otho Street.

We also sell premium pet food and bones at the Inverell Barnyard, also on Otho Street.

Meat can occasionally be purchased directly from our warehouse in Oliver Street when we have an open day - these days will be advertised from our Facebook and/or Instagram pages.

Keep an eye on our Stockists page as we will be adding more soon!

Can I customise my box?

At this stage we are not offering customised boxes. We may offer this in the future.

If there is anything specific you are looking for in your box, feel free to send us an email at orders@nativeangusbeef.com and we can do our best to accommodate it.

Our Beef

How is your beef packaged?

Native Angus Beef order is sold as table ready cuts, individually vacuum sealed into 200g-2.0kg portions.

How long will my meat last?

Your meat has been specifically packaged to prolong its shelf life when stored correctly.

Each individual piece has both a fresh and a frozen best before date. The fresh date is the date you should use the meat by if it is stored in the refrigerator (typically 1 week). The frozen best before date should be used once it is stored in the freezer, it should be defrosted and eaten before this Date (typically 1 year).

Will my beef be fresh or frozen?

We sell most of our meat fresh. Occasionally we will sell meat frozen if we have stock to clear or during times when we are not able to get fresh meat processed. We will advise you when your order is made if your order will arrive frozen.

Our pet mince, beef lard, offal and bones are always sold frozen.

What are in your Sausages?

Our Sausages are gluten free and preservative free. Aside from our Beef, they contain Tapioca Starch, Rice Flour, Salt, Mineral Salt (451), Hydrolysed Maize Protein, Natural Colours (160c), Herb Extracts, Spice Extracts and Flavours.

What is in your Corning Brine?

The Corning Brine we use is Nitrate Free. Any Corned Silverside or Corned Brisket etc. that you purchase from us will never have any Nitrates added.

It contains: Mineral Salts (451, 452, 450), Salt, Hydrolysed Vegetable Protein (Maize) (Vegetable Protein Extract, Rice Bran Oil)

Our Farm

Are your cattle really 100% grass fed?

Our cattle are fed a fully grass-fed diet and this is a fact we are very proud of. We believe grass-fed AND grass-finished is the only way to ensure superior nutrient content in our customers' red meat intake.

Are your cattle chemical free?

We aim to raise our cattle as naturally as possible. We use no pesticides or herbicides on our pastures. Our cattle receive no hormones or antibiotics.
