For over 200 years, Scots farmers bred cattle that were remarkable foragers, with an ability to transform the diverse pastures of their native land into magnificent beef, prized all over the world.

And some of their herds escaped the crossbreeding in North America in the 1950’s to 1970’s that was designed to produce cattle that could be fed on grain for fast growth.

Consequently, the descendants of the original Scots breed – now known as Native Angus - retain the ability to develop the rich, satisfying flavour of real beef - an unmistakable testament to the nutrients packed into every cut.
